Broadway Artists Alliance
This afternoon I did a Q & A with the students in Broadway Artists Alliance’s summer intensive. They were such an enthusiastic group that it made it one of the best question and answer sessions I’ve ever been part of. As I was leaving, I ran into another former Billy castmate, ballet girl Danika Yarosh.

No, not the name of a new movie- just a recap of last night! Alex was off, I was in the city and we had a few hours to entertain ourselves. We had a ton of fun and pulled in thousands of tickets.

Colin Bates was out on the island this past week and we caught up on Sunday. We brought him to my cousins’ house where we got some pool time in and more. I can hardly believe it’s been 5 years since we met at our first Billy audition!
It happened at Ripley Grier
Thommie & Trent were teaching a musical theater/tap workshop to the students of the Adelphi Summer Dance Intensive at the same time this morning that Dayton and Mike were being tutored (remember,it’s winter in Australia so school is in session). Naturally, Thommie and Trent invited Dayton and Mike in for a stretch break. The students were thrilled to meet the Billys!
Wantagh Weekend
After being away more than being home since school let out, it was nice to just hang out with schoolfriends this weekend. My friend Danielle had a bunch of us Friday for pool, s’mores and outdoor fun and Falyn had a Saturday gathering of friends where we played every crazy game we could think of - inside the airconditioning.

To start off the day, D-man, Tessa, Kelsey and I made sure that our dark marks were prepared and our wizarding uniforms were on so that we wouldn’t be mistaken while among the thousands of muggles waiting in line to get into Harry Potter World. Camp Broadway goes to the Tonys
Camp Broadway brought 100 guests to the Tonys tonight and celebrated beforehand with dinner at Bond 45. The guests of honor at the meal were none other than cast members of BETM, past & present! 10 Minute Musical
BMI’s Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop culminated its year Monday night with the presentation of four 10 minute musicals produced by the composers, lyricists and book writers that have been taking the course. Trent was asked to perform the role of Randy, the son of a grocer in “The Shopping List”.
