An Awesome 15th Birthday Celebration
How lucky for me that my birthday fell on a Monday; BETM friends and Wantagh friends were able to help me celebrate. Since we started at 4 in the afternoon and had a sleepover, I guess you could say the party lasted 15 hours!

Nikki (Blonsky - Tracy Turnblad in the movie Hairspray) surprised Trevor and I by showing up to BETM last night; she waited until she knew both of us were on and bought a ticket. Another Billy-fan was born! After the show, my sister Carine realized she wasn’t going to get the three of us to stop talking for a while so the decision was made to go to Juniors afterwards. Good decision :)

Lunch on the Run
Friday was one of those busy days, with almost no down time. Good luck at lunch time put me and Jen (my French tutor) in the same place as our friend Ginno and his good friend Nikki Blonsky. Most people know Nikki from Hairspray - she’s a gifted actress and singer. She’s also a fellow Long Islander and we had a great time sharing lunch and life stories.

Weather issues didn’t stop the show Wednesday night - Liam and I got to see the awesome production of Swan Lake at Lincoln Center. How cool it was to see our former Older Billy, Stephen Hanna play Prince Siegfried!!! Maria Kowroski played Odette - - - one word: stunning. If you can get to this ballet - do it!
Broadway Sings at PS 166
Last night Trevor and I joined a number of Broadway performers to put on a benefit show for PS 166 - aka The Richard Rodgers School of the Arts & Technology. It was a lot of fun and the kids really got into it. Working Guys; Next-door Neighbors
Corbin Bleu is now starring in In the Heights next door at the Richard Rodgers Theater. We both got out of work about the same time Saturday…and both recognized each other. Coincidentally, our birthdays are next-door as well, Corbin’s Feb. 21 and mine Feb. 22.
Rain Check for DSD
Dorothy’s School of Dance had a big group booked to see BETM Jan. 24, when I was scheduled to perform. Unfortunately, I wasn’ feeling too great that day and couldn’t go on. So they came Jan. 30 instead - and it worked out great since I was off that night. We all headed back to Wantagh for dinner at the Nook.
