Camp Broadway goes to the Tonys
Camp Broadway brought 100 guests to the Tonys tonight and celebrated beforehand with dinner at Bond 45. The guests of honor at the meal were none other than cast members of BETM, past & present! Thommie, Tessa, Trent & Marina answered questions, talked about their 2009 Tonys experience and took a lot of photos, complete with Tony award. But none of them attended the 2010...

10 Minute Musical
BMI’s Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop culminated its year Monday night with the presentation of four 10 minute musicals produced by the composers, lyricists and book writers that have been taking the course. Trent was asked to perform the role of Randy, the son of a grocer in “The Shopping List”.

It was a smaller group than back in March, but it was a lot of fun last night. I got some last minute teaching pointers from Thommie (who was actually teaching a tap class in another room in Ripely Grier) and with Jessica Rofe coordinating the 4 hour workshop, we packed a lot in! I am planning to do some teaching this summer so I will post details when I get them all worked out. Good job,...
