June 27 -July 1:

Flew to Myrtle Beach, SC for the National Finals of Dancemakers Inc. Thommie Retter has been teaching for DMI for years and he brought me in as an assistant teacher.  It was great - I got to assist all different teachers with all different levels of students in all kinds of dance: ballet, tap, lyrical  & jazz.  My mom, Dorothy and Carly came too so we took in the beach, the shops, a little mini-golf and just relaxing in the pool/hot tub @ the Sheraton. I guess that’s what they mean by “a working vacation”!
